好朋友dd去了当当网工作了，晃悠两年后开始稳定下来。见面的时候问我，会不会用linux，我说，还好吧。然后又问我怎么配置网卡，我说用ifconfig吧，他说他用的是redhat9.0，我说那直接setup。这个朋友很好玩，国内知名bbs几乎都有他的身影，在某些圈子中还小有名气。从windows转导linux的人一般都有好多好多问题，然后慢慢的就习惯了问题，最后终于不想再问了。
在中国，几乎所有的人都是从windows开始的，记得开始接触电脑的时候，还整天热衷于flash，dreamwaver之类。一晃过去好多年，成了网虫之后终于明白什么叫做一事无成，可是悲哀在于就算是网虫，还是那种看贴不回的那种。每每看到别人帖子最后所谓“不回帖子就怎么怎么样”的时候，总会计算自己到底“怎么怎么样”了多少次。以前跟dd灌水的日子一去不回，那时有几个朋友，分布在南开各处，每到晚上固定时间，总会在固定板上翻云覆雨。每到周末饥困的时候，大家还会找个小菜馆，腐败一番。去了北京的老大最近网上遇见时喜欢抱怨，大家谁谁都忘记他了，这班人，不知道有没有人有时也会想起留在南开的我。
那个时候刚刚使用linux，连中文输入法都不会装，跟以前第一次用windows上网的时候连IE都不会用一样。大家笑我，怎么突然那么另类。window是买的汽车，盗版windows是偷来的汽车，linux是零件。好多好多的零件我好喜欢。大本后两年我开始刻盘，现在积累了好大一箱。每个人都有自己的一种乐趣，无所事事的时候拿起来可以花费一定的时间。整理一箱linux盘是一种消遣，重装linux也是一种消遣，虽然有时候它很昂贵。面对一种有生命的个性，总会累的，面对没有生命的个性，却总让人乐此不疲。
windows总是越来越慢，于是要开始整理磁盘；一个程序出问题，就有一个程序可以代替，替换品多了让人都迎接不暇。linux越来越慢的时候，却找不到整理磁盘的工具。一个朋友说，linux自己会优化磁盘，还说如果真的想整理的话，可以把整个分区备份为tar文件，然后清空整个空间，再解压tar文件。有点麻烦，消磨时间。还说linux内存使用率高，内存管理好等等。资源总是要充分利用啊，想必我的内存好累了吧。不知道啊，linux的习惯成依赖的时候，还是重装吧，这个东西像情人，你不可能娶他过门。如果有必要还是重装吧，如果不是很重要，数据也让它去吧，没有想象的那样宝贵。
linux就这样生活，我不装服务器。
